I learn this the other day at the City of Los Angeles' public library....yes apparently she was going to run some of her ponderings past a group of SD "$250 minimum donors". According to the registration desk ladies, I did not make the cut...despite the fact the library posted signs throughout about sharon's debut, with instruction to line up at 5pm to register for the reception and reading...A word of advice, if u r not going to share w/all don't make a public announcement of your gig...it makes you look snooty...and i know Sharon has nothing to be snooty about.

KATRINA 's Tsunami VISITS Haiti

PORT-AU-PRINCE (Reuters) - Haiti's government and the U.N. mission to the impoverished Caribbean nation are overwhelmed by the scale of the disaster left by four recent storms, the U.N.'s special envoy to Haiti said on Thursday.
